The Hidden Valley Optimist Club

out the best in our youth, community, and ourselves.”

The Hidden Valley Optimist Club of Charlotte, NC is a not-for-profit service
club chartered in 1979. We conduct service projects that benefit the Youth and
Senior Citizens of our community. Our membership is made up of Men and Women
from all areas of the City of Charlotte.

Our meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month
at Hope Haven, Inc. 3815 North Tryon Street. Our meetings consists of programs featuring guest speakers, committee reports, youth and community service programs. Our youth and community service projects touch the entire city of Charlotte: and include, but not necessarily limited to:

  • Respect for Law
  • Hidden Valley Community Association
  • Parade and Festival
  • Sugaw Creek Young at Heart Club
  • Bicycle Safety
  •  Boys & Girls Home of NC
  • Give a Kid a Book – Hidden Valley Elementary
